Well, it is that time of year again. Quinn has been bugging me for months about starting his Halloween costume. Finally, this weekend we started it. We haven’t gotten much done, but this weekend we will make more progress. (He also had a school project which had to be finished!). I won’t tell you what he is going to be..yet…you will have to wait and see. You might already be able to guess!
I spend a lot of my days sewing. And when I’m not sewing it seems like I am lanolizing the things I’ve sewn!
A new and exciting addition to our household is this lovely potty seat. I did a lot of research and there are some interesting potty seats out there! But I decided this one would do the job the best!
Today is a day off from sewing. We went to the newly expanded and relocated Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. We’ve been members there for a very long time. Today was a special members only day. It was a lot of fun.

If I was running for president, these are some of the things that I would promise to change about

-Oh, and of course, free cloth diapers for all babies!!!
Alright, so I just had to indulge myself and buy my little one this adorable sewing machine. Thank goodness for Ebay! She loves it. She’s already making woolies better than me! I better watch out! I’ve created an adorable monster! Now, I need to get back to sewing.
I’ve got custom orders and more custom orders and regular auctions and not enough coffee in my coffee mug!

So, I am trying to be more positive in my life and more calm. Trying to be less stressed. So, while trolling about on the internet, I came upon this old English poster, which has quite an interesting history. It has become my new mantra. Now, I just have to order a copy of it to hang up in my work space!
I need to start being better about updating my website. It won’t get going if I don’t update!
Christopher and the kids are up in Maine for the week. Leaving just me and River home alone! She hasn’t been napping much, but I am trying to get some woolie work done around her schedule! At night, when I really should work, I’m just too tired. My goal is usually to get at least 2 woolie auctions done a day..but that doesn’t always happen! Oh well.
So today I got a little bored doing normal woolie sewing. My 18 month old daughter has decided her favorite “baby” is a little 5 inch tall alien doll. She loves the thing. So, I did what any normal mother would do…I made her baby a woolie!
Today I have been sewing a lot. We are having our gutters replaced, so things are a bit noisy around here. Luckily, my little one is actually napping through it all. And because she is napping, I am having time to sew.
I’m a bit exhausted because my husband is away in NYC and little River hasn’t been sleeping through the night. Being a single parent would be the toughest job in the world! I don’t wish that upon anyone!
